Earl Grey Chocolate Truffles
These Earl Grey truffles make the perfect gift, or an indulgent treat to tuck inside a stocking.
You'll need:
1 1/4 cup heavy cream
1 full bag Earl Grey Drinking chocolate
2 tbsp butter
1/8 tsp orange blossom water (optional)
1/8 tsp sea salt
Cocoa powder for dusting
Pour the cream into a pan and heat gently over medium heat, until the cream comes to a gentle simmer. Remove from the heat and add the remaining ingredients (chocolate, butter, orange blossom water and salt) and whisk until completely smooth.
Pour the mixture into a shallow tin or bowl, and place in the fridge for 2 hours to firm up.
Take the mix out of the fridge and let stand for 10-15 to soften slightly. Once scoopable, form into small balls and roll in the cocoa powder to thoroughly coat. Enjoy!
Makes about 30 truffles.
These will keep up to 5 days in the fridge, stored in an airtight container.
